WIN a Globber MyFree Fold Up Scooter

When it comes to energy my little troops have it in bucket loads, so we are always looking for our next adventure and what better way to have it than with scooters…oh boy, the fun we have and places we explore now that we are all on wheels are endless!!

Between us we have road tested a lot of brands and it’s safe to say that we certainly have our favourites. So, when the opportunity came up to test out some brand new scooters from one of the leading brands, the kids were beside themselves with excitement…I actually began to feel sorry for the postman who was harassed by the kids every morning until they arrived.

When it comes to great scooters Globber had everything covered,… or at least we thought. Then, they brought out the NEW MyFree Fold Up Scooter with flashing wheels….hold the phone, what? A scooter that even has flashing wheels! Yup, they have gone all out with this one! When we tested out the Globber MyFree we couldn’t praise it highly enough and it certainly didn’t seem like they could do any better but they found a way and oh boy …to say that these scooters were a hit is the understatement of the century!

When my 4 year-old twins received their special package containing two Globber MyFree Fold Up scooters complete with awesome accessories, the energy in the house was electric… I only wish that I had managed to record the moment but I was so wrapped up enjoying the squeals and “look Mummy, look…this is so awesome!” that I didn’t even consider reaching for my phone at the time.g1

After the initial excitement had calmed a little it was time to find out if the new improved model not only lived up to its predecessor but trumped it. I was delighted to find that the modifications had not impeached on the fantastic design and functionality of the MyFree Up but blew it out of the water.

The Globber MyFree Fold Up scooter is a solid, yet highly maneuverable scooter, that is lightweight but robust (and fun) enough to endure the intense testing applied by my 6 year old, who likes to “make sure” that it will be okay for his little brother and sister. With the high quality materials used to construct the Globber MyFree Up Scooter, this scooter performs well under most circumstances making it an easy and smooth ride.g2

The Globber MyFree Fold Up scooter is designed to grow with your child with 3 different positions to raise the handle height to, a maximum weight capacity of 50kg and considering how much my 6 year old enjoys hoping on one too, we know that we will certainly benefit from years’ of fun out of these scooters.g3

My little ones have been loving days out of their scooters and I was amazed at how long they could ride them for when we braved a trip to the city…this may have been partly due to the promise of an ice-cream at the end of the day but I also think that having the low deck seemed to help reduce the effort needed making the long day a little easier on them. Even when we ventured into the wildlife center my precious little ones refused to leave their precious scooters in the care of the staff, so the quick ‘squeeze and twist’ folding action came into its own, locking the scooter into place, so that they could wheel them along behind them…too easy.g6

Functionality and practicalities aside the Globber MyFree Fold Up Scooter has gone all out and not only comes in a great choice of fun vibrant colours but also now comes with Flashing wheels. If that doesn’t cause enough excitement (which it does) you can also add an LED light to the front, with different settings, which turned my little ones’ scooters from being ‘just scooters’ into a whole new world of imaginary play things, with their flashing wheels and head-lights they whizzed off to ‘Save the Day’ as their very own emergency response crew.g5

Amongst other great accessories Globber have their own Helmet range that you can match up to the colour of your scooter or mix up if you prefer. My little ones just love their matching helmets but most importantly Globber have again have gone the extra mile and created a magnetic catch under the chin that is both really easy for a child to do and undo themselves without catching or pinching their skin like they have done repeatedly with other helmet brands we have had, so yet another win for Globber.

Globber MyFree Fold Up Scooters are perfect for new riders right from an early age as they offer amazing stability, a low deck and lockable front wheels to get those early riders going. Then, with the wheels unlocked and the handle bar adjusted in height, these scooters offer a fantastic smooth fun filled ride as they get older and faster. The Globber MyFree Fold Up scooters are well manufactured with high grade quality parts along with fantastic features making the whole experience a great one for both parent and child, while offering plenty of exciting fun extras to add to the enjoyment as well as providing peace of mind to parents that their little ones are travelling on scooters that have their safety in mind too. When I asked my little ones what they thought of their scooters the response was a deafening ‘these are SO AWESOME’ followed swiftly by ‘I want to keep them forever’ while hugging their scooters tightly.g4

If you are looking for a Scooter for your little one…I would highly recommend a Globber scooter as in my opinion they are as good as they get!

This would be awsome for my little man’s 3rd birthday in march. They look so good and to be able to fold up means so much easier for us to pack to take camping.

    This scooter is so fantastic!
When my kids get tired – I’m the one left to lug the scooters back home. So many times their scooters have swung over and hit me in the ankles. This fold up one is a little beauty!
