Age Appropiate Jobs For Kids – Plus A FREE Chore Chart Printable!
I don’t know about you but I find it very hard to keep on top of the housework with 3 girls under 8 it seems I am constantly picking up after them. I am not complaining as I know I am incredibly blessed to be able to stay home with them and to even have children to pick up after. I have been using reward charts now since my eldest was 4 and let me tell you now that she is at school how much help it is to have a child that knows what their daily tasks are and its even better taking pride in their responsibilities. Here are my tips for getting your kids involved in their chores.
I have a before and after school set for my miss 7 – before school she must make her bed and put her pj’s away. Brush her teeth and ensure her brush and hair products are put back in the bathroom.
In the afternoon she must put her lunch box bricks back in the freezer, put her lunchbox away and place her uniform in the wash. She has now been doing this for a year and it’s the norm of her morning and afternoon routine.
Here is a list of kid friendly chores you can start your child helping with.
